I got the same email and response word for word. Googled it to see if there was a legit artist with that name and glad I came across this scam review. It threw me off that in the response email she wrote "we started this purchase" and also that she got her own name wrong.

I recently received a text if I wanted to work as a personal assistant for Anna Welsh from Jane Bok Indeed. I emailed her if the job was available. She replied, "I hope my message finds you well. I am sincerely sorry for my late response to your email. I have been busy lately due to this coronavirus outbreak I haven't been chanced to check my email. Yes, the position is still available.

Let me start by telling you more about myself and more about this position. My name is Anna Welsh, I am 54 years old originally from Luxembourg. I presently live and run business in various states in the USA. I am a professional artist. I draw, paint, and also an art collector professionally.

I will be on a business trip for 2-3 weeks, I need someone to start working for me prior to my arrival and can give me these services: Running errands within your city like paying off bills, picking up orders at stores when needed, etc. For every week's assignment, I will always give a clear set of instructions on what you are required to do for me and I promise it will always be nothing hectic. I am looking for someone that is ready to start the job as soon as possible, this job is flexible, so you can do it wherever you are, and I don't mind you doing all of the tasks during your spare time outside of work or school. I was told she received my email address from my school's employment center. She reached out to ask if I would be her personal assistant i.e. making payments on her behalf through MoneyGram. She sent me a check, which Chase Bank believes is fraudulent.
