Contacted through online job app for mystery shopping. States basic information to start process. Once everything was completed they deposited $1800 into account and then asked me to go buy 3 $500 gift cards from Walmart. They were also sending text messages frequently asking if I had gone through the steps yet. The more I thought about it it seemed unethical and I reported it to my credit card and let them know I could not perform tasks. I asked how to send money back and have not heard from them again.

Israel Moore offering me to be a mystery shopper. Sent a check for $2995 asking me to deposit it and then purchase 2 Apple gift cards for $1300 each, keep $300 and use the balance on a different mystery shop. Then they wanted me to contact via text when done.

The check they sent was supposedly from American Eagle Credit Union. So I took it to an American Eagle Credit Union for verification. It was not a legitimate check from one of their credit unions. I suspected as such. I did take the mail to our local police and filed a report which really was a waste of time. Then I came to the ScamPulse.com and filed this report.

I received a check for $ 2420.00 in the mail along with a letter requesting I cash the check put or keep 420 of the check and take $2000 and buy five $ 500 Google play gift cards. I found this rather odd, who is going to use $ 2000 worth of Google gift cards. I shredded the check and letter.
