Offered my son a job, emailed him, did a zoom call, sent him an official offer letter, and a jobs detail letter. Said he sent my son a check but that check was delayed so he emailed my son a new check for $3,450 said the check was to be used for equipment to get started with the company. Once my son deposited it the man asked my son to create a Zelle account and send him $500, the remaining to be sent once my son got the rest of the equipment. The scammer moved very fast. My son did not create a Zelle account or send the scammer any money.
