They called my husband and left a message in regards to his wife's healthcare account. I was waiting for my health insurance's referral to see a specialist. I thought this might be it and called 866-670-1467 on 6/6/2022. The line somehow got redirected and I thought it was kind of strange, but the live person came on and claimed to be Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. They wanted to get my personal information, so they can provide me with some kind of healthcare. I provided my birthdate, email, phone number and my family doctor's name. I am not sure if I provided my social security. I can't be sure. My gut told me this was really weird, but I trusted they were really from Anthem. I answered "yes" to some of the questions. After the phone call with them, I searched their number to see if it was legit. To my horror, they are a scammer. I'm really scared.
