Scammer used Microsoft Teams to conduct an interview via chat. Emailed an offer letter requesting I sign it and send it back to them along with a copy of my driver's license. They told me how much I would be making, and that they would send me a check via email for me to deposit via mobile check so I could go purchase office software and equipment including a new Iphone 16 pro max. I have two different addresses for this company. One was provided by the scammer and the other is on the offer letter. This was for a job offer for data entry clerk remotely. There is a name on the offer letter that states he is the Founder/Chief Executive Officer. Along with a reference number. When I started questioning these tactics the scammer stopped responding and blocked me.
