I received a check in the mail in the amount of $2,987.00 that was supposedly drawn on SunTrust Bank. Also included was a letter asking me to either cash the “check” or deposit it into my bank account within in 24 hours. After cashing the check, the letter instructed me to go to WalMart and purchase several gift cards total 1200.00, along with other buying options which would cause me to be paid $500.00.
