The fraud approached me through a website called tutors.com, where I was looking for students online. They texted me asking for my availability and send me a check that was $1500. Then they asked to send the extra that was sent through zelle to [email protected], saying that their child needed transportation money. I first sent them $640, then $490. A few days later, the check bounced. The bank stated that is not their responsibility, and that's how I lost the money.
