I had logged onto my laptop when a screen popped up and showed that it was from Microsoft and that there was a virus on my computer called Zeus. It stated that I should not open anything and that I should call the number listed. So I called. He was very convincing. Took control of my computer and downloaded all this stuff and said he stopped the virus. He said that all of that would cost $120.00. I am on an extremely low budget so it was hard for me to do this but I did. Near the end of the call he said that they only accept check by phone. Needless to say he got my account number & routing number. Thankfully it was never taken out. Two days later the same thing happened,another Microsoft screen(different from the first). So again I called the number thinking I still had a virus. Turned out to be another scammer. Only this one wanted even more money than the first one. Once he realized that I wasn't paying for it, he said well I can't help you. I did a stop payment on the check from the first scammer.
