I was sent an email about an invoice that was going to be debited from my bank account. when i called the number I was directed to a web site called anydesk.com. when i reached a person they took control of my computer from there end. I filled out information and i put in the wrong amount for the bill and they said they couldn't change it and i had to get gift cards from Walmart in the amount of $1300. I did that in order for them to recoup the wrong amount that I put in on the form. I gave the information from the gift card that was on the back with the pin # and they took the money and said they would refund me and I haven't received the money nor heard from them again. The invoice was supposed to have come Geek Squad for the amount of $438.00. They were controlling my computer and had access to my banking account and social security #. they wiped out my account with the purchase of the gift cards. This should of raised flag for me but I didn't take heed. Is it possible to retrieve this money back from them?
