So back in May we got a letter from our old Landlord stating that we needed to find a new place because of the fact that our child was making to much noise. So I looked for a place on Facebook marketplace and this person that we went through asked to cash app and apple pay this person first sent me an amount for $140 to do the application fee. Then $600 dollars for the fee for the realtor that's what the guy told me. Then he wanted $1200 for the down payment of the apartment. Then he wanted to charge me and extra $250 dollar to have the keys shipped up to me and I told him no that I will come and grab them 2 hours away. So I did because I wasn't going to have this person charge me keys and paperwork that should of been put in place in person. I had to cash app and apple pay these people a few times. Then I told him I wasn't going to give him anymore money for the keys that I was going to come down and meet him and we did and he gave us a false address in Middletown NY which is 2 hours away. So all I am asking some how to get my money back. But this person got me so far behind on my car payment that I just got it repo'd the other day and now I am trying to figure out how to get it back. I am trying hard and the bank isn't helping either. So I am reaching out to you guys for help I am hoping that you can help me asap. This is very important to me to find this person. Please get back to me ASAP. this is very important to me. i have a copy of the lease that wasn't signed But I have to find it. So please call me asap

I am in desperate need of moving and I came across an apartment on Facebook and I texted the number for more inquiries +1 (646) 359-6819 then he gave me another number to send the application fee as well as the security deposit to which is +1 (707) 246-6461 total of $655. After I sent, he halted all communication and didn’t text back for hours. I tried to dispute it with Apple Pay but they said I didn’t have enough evidence. I’ve been asking for a refund for about a week now and he finally tells me on Sunday that it was non-refundable. He hasn’t been truthful and he told me I was supposed to tour after I got approved he won’t let me tour and he has yet told me i was approved he wants me to pay $200 and get the keys but I don’t trust sending him any more money. He has blacked communication from the +1 (646) 359-6819 number. The Facebook name is Cynthia Hash and the landlords name is Michael supposedly. I asked him what the name of the LLC was and he couldn’t give me the name. I’m just at a lost for words and I just can’t afford to get scammed any longer.

Nicholas posted an offer for an apartment rental in Hollywood area, when i cintacted him, first he sent me a link for the application and ask me to pay $100. Then he said i was approved and in order to pit the appartment on hold for me i had to pay tye deposit of $1000. Since i was not in florida, he asked me to give at least half so ge could wait until i come back to show the property so i sent $500. When I told him i had someone to see the unit, he told me that his attorney advise him to not show the property until full deposit was made. I had my dad checking the unit at address provided by nicholas 1000 N 71 Ave, Hollywood, FL but some other person advised my dad that someone is using that address to scam people. That over the weekend more than 20 people had gone to this address aakimg for the unit and being scammed. Even the peraon told my dad that someone lost around $1500 for the scam

The guys name is “David Michael”. He pretends to be a real estate agent. He is not. I cannot find a license number for him anywhere. He took a security deposit from he is was not entitled to & also put me in an apartment that is illegal and not up to code to live in. He has done this to so many people.

  Hello, I put an ad out saying that I needed an apartment(1bedroom). And this person answered my ad, told me that he had an upstairs unit in Lakewood, Ohio available. He then gave me the address and demanded more and more money from me so I went to the store to get gift cards because I wasn’t giving this person my financial info. This person needs to be stopped before he does this to anyone else!

I rented a beach house at 1322 Ocean View Ave Norfolk, VA from February 19,2023 until April 23, 2023 from Marian Shortt Schutts and Debra McGraw through Furnished Finders. On April 23, 2023 the three of us did a final walk through and Marian said she'd mail me a check for my deposit. After longer than 60 days i have yet to receive my deposit back for $2195. I also rented a condo from Debra McGraw from November 19, 2022 until February 19, 2023 also in Norfolk, VA. . Debra charged me a $550 cleaning fee for this condo.. i hired Molly Maids to professionally clean the beach house before the walk through. They insisted on being paid by money order or PayPal. I was presented a multi-page lease to sign. Mariam bussiness card failed to identify her real-estate license number. And I was provided keys to each unit. Was told I could have apartment and lease would be sent and my first month rent (prorated), last month rent and deposit was wired. And real estate agent/ home owner ghosted me.

We were trying to rent out an apartment. We paid a deposit of $2000 cash and the other half was digital through our bank apps, . He took my social in my ID.

They offered me a house to rent, then I signed a lease and they asked me to pay them through a website. I asked them to meet me with the keys and I would pay through the website then. Once we did, he asked me for more money and when I didn't provide him with more he said he would not give me the keys. I told him I would call the police and he walked away from me. I called their office and they told me they wouldn't rent to me. I filed a police report and now I am out of a house to rent and have nowhere to go.
