Scam so convincing

Same experience as above, text then a google chat, then I'm hired and please fill out the direct deposit form. So many red flags. Their website has an error code for career page. Can't verify that the person works there or even exists. Look up the addresses and ones a New York brownstone, the Canada one is just a road in the middle of no where. They are so convincing don't give your information to anyone. Especially if they do not do an in person interview. And also my google email couldn't confirm that this person is from this company.

I received a text asking if it was (my name). When I replied, I received no response, so I sent another text asking who it was texting me. I received a text stating it was Tim Coulter from Apel Realty Corporation. The picture I have attached shows the full text from “him,” or whoever the text is from. It seemed too good to be true, so I found this page as I was searching Tim Coulter of Apel Realty Corporation.

Type of a scam Employment

A person named Tim Coulter sent me a text saying their company found my resume on Indeed and wanted to set up an interview for a Payroll Assistant. He instructed me to reach out to the hiring manager Rebecca Brooks on Google Chat via the email address provided: [email protected]

When contacted “Rebecca” initiated an interview where they asked me some generic questions and then at the end offered me a job. At the end they stated that they would need to send company money to my account as a test of trust and to know how well I can handle funds placed in my trust or care and more instructions will follow.

They then requested I be online the next morning for my “Offer Letter” and what I can assume will be a request for my banking information.
