My friend and I worked for this man Tim Harlin for two weeks. He said that his truck was broke down so we had to provide the transportation for him. Everyday we had to drive over an hour to the house that we were supposed to be remodeling only for him to tell us after an hour or so that he was ready to call it a day. A few days we even went by ourselves and he said he would be there later but never showed up. We asked him multiple times for paperwork and tax forms to prove that it was a legitimate company, but Everytime we brought it up he gave us a different excuse for why he couldn't produce those documents. Finally after working for this man for two weeks he informs us the day before we are to be paid that he doesn't need us anymore and that he will not be paying us for the time that we worked, Because according to him we lied about our time. However with the exception of the two days that we went alone to paint he was with us and knows we were there. And because he didn't go those days I made it a point to text him when we got to the job site, and before we left. in that text I even sent him pictures of all the rooms that we painted to show him what we had done. Also he was the one keeping track of our time. He never asked us what we worked.
