Found their business and vehicles on internet and FB.

Apex Repo Motors

Located in Montana.

Gave us map and address. Told us to send money to bank account and the check would be held until truck was delivered. They had a very convincing website.

Called this company regarding a 2013 F250 4x4 King Ranch truck they had for sale for $22500. They said they would deliver truck for free to Devils Lake ND. Also I had 15 days to see if I liked it, or they would pick it up free. Called the Bank and they said truck was worth $41k and were suspicious. Track the address to a vacant building in Belgrade. Called the guy back and asked if a friend in Belgrade could come and see the truck and he hung up on me. Called back and he wouldn't answer. Called with my mobile phone and a woman with a foreign accent answered and when I explained I was interested in the truck but would like to have someone physically see the truck she hung up. I really want to warn people that this is not a real place of business or they wouldn't do business like this. Also tried an additional phone and same results. Seller of course want money sent up front and would deliver vehicle for free

This “business” posted a great deal on an RV for sale via Facebook. The listing points back to their web site, which was registered with ICANN as a domain just 5 days ago, but lists “testimonials” going back for several years.

After clicking a button and filling out a form to indicate I was interested in purchasing the vehicle and wanted to see it in person, I received an email advising that their in-person operations are shut down due to COVID, and that all I have to do to get the car shipped to me is transfer the full purchase price to Apex-Repo-Motors international bank account. Once I questioned this, I was told that it would go into “escrow” for me to release in 15 days after I receive the vehicle (which they will ship to me cross-country for free).

The “seller” refused to provide a VIN, and refused to provide the physical address where the vehicle is located so that I could do a walk around and verify the VIN.

This is clearly a scam. If someone sent money to the “escrow” account and waited for a vehicle to arrive, they would be very disappointed and out a lot of money.
