I was contacted by some HR rep from this company claiming that they received the application I sent through Indeed. There was a brief phone interview and then my employment was "accepted" for the position of warehouse coordinator, which involved working from home. They set me up on the company dashboard, and said that I would be receiving and sending packages for a fixed $2800/mo plus $60 for each package. The package handling involved opening the box/packaging, taking a photo of the product inside, and then mailing the package with a new shipping label provided by the company. I spoke with 3 or 4 people over the phone in different supervisor roles, their phone numbers all had area codes in either Maine, USA or Alberta, Canada. By the end of the first month I was due to be paid and lost access to the dashboard. I was also unable to contact anyone at the company by phone or email. I started doing some research online and found this mail forwarding/shipping employment scam was fairly widespread. The company appeared to be legitimate and they even had an American LLC (registered in Maine).
