Notice of continuation/New Order Offer
It asked me to choose a payment option for one year of the magazine Fine Woodworking, which we have gotten for many years. I was surprised at the high amount and I thought there was just a mistake. They wanted $89.95 for one year and I had recently written Taunton Press a check for a similar amount (several dollars less) for three years. I did call Taunton and did not pay the bill, but this is VERY misleading. There is a statement on the bottom that says "This is an offer from an independent company, not a bill" but it is certainly not noticeable. I would call this a scam and can understand why people would send money!
Sorry I am not attaching a PDF of the invoice. I've been waiting for a photo, but it's not arriving in a timely way! I'm sure it will arrive shortly, and will be happy to send it at your request.
