Type of a scam Online Purchase
I received email from the reported owner, Cecil Tucker 1211 Indiana Ave La Porte Indiana 46350, they had a contract with Shipping Company API ComShip, https://www.apicomship.com/safe-services/, who had possession of the vehicle and API would handle the transaction. I provided my information and API sent me an Invoice and signed contract document between Cecil and API.
API indicated a Bank Wire Transfer for the full amount was needed to ship the vehicle.
I sent the money with Bank Wire Transfer, notified API and waited a couple days. I followed up for shipping and tracking confirmation.
API sent me a Bill of Lading document indicating shipping was initiated and when delivery would occur.
I NEVER RECEIVED THE VEHICLE AND API WILL NOT RESPOND TO MY EMAILS OR PHONE CALLS.
THIS OPERATION IS A SCAM WITH INTENT TO DEFRAUD INDIVIDUALS.
