Facebook Marketplace listed an ad for a wholesale load of overstock tool pallets by someone named Michael Larko he had quite a few positive feedbacks on marketplace so I didn't think much of it. The price was very good so i bought 2 pallets listed with a shipping cost of $50 as I wanted them delivered. In the mail I received a blank cd via media mail ($3.20) with the exact title of my purchase typed on it. I complained to Facebook and they said I am not covered for an event like this. How can they allow scammers to run free on their marketplace? I tried contacting the seller also but he deleted his account after the payment went through. It seems as if you provide tracking, payment is allowed even if you send the customer anything but the paid for item through the cheapest shipping method. Facebook did not investigate or care. They are harboring criminals on their marketplace and collecting the final sale fees thus profiting from the criminal activity. They are just as at fault as this type of thing I am sure has been reported many times.

Same thing happened to me but I just got my money back, he is using a different name now "Joseph Truman". I have no idea how he has been getting away with this scam for so long. Sent me a piece of paper "listing"... this guy is a real pos. He blocked me so I can't provide better pics of his account. Going under "Aplus Wholesalers"

The same just happened to me today took 83 dollars I also read the review and thought it was fine now they deleted the account and I can't file a claim with the purchase protection. I'm going to file a claim with my bank. I received a blank CD.
