Applied for Appen USA on Indeed. Received email from them about the job. Was asked to download Slack and WebEX. Only communicated with Slack. I have uploaded all conversations. I was offered a FMLA Specialist job, sent an offer letter. Then was asked to contact IT to setup software and I'd receive an IMac. Once I contacted IT that's when I'm told I must purchase software and started doing more research and found out they ask you to purchase software and pay for shipping but the people never got their stuff or reimbursement. I asked why would I buy software to do a job for you. I've worked at home for a few companies and they send what you need but they do not ask for you to purchase anything. People are saying they are legit but it's not. People are having money taken from them. Thankfully I caught on to the scam. I have way more to upload. Please email me so I can send more info.
