Scammers had a fraud pop up on a webpage on my mothers ipad that directed her to call the number for “Apple Support” once calling they claimed a fraud had happened to her bank account ties to the Apple account. The then gave her another number claiming it was a number to Bank of America, she called it, they convinced her to go to her bank branch, take out $30,000 and send it to them via a crypto machine at the BP in Eden Prairie Minnesota. They also used the phone number (325) 271-4882. They speak english and sound like they are from Texas, this happened yesterday and they are still calling her today from the same phone numbers, there is an active police report. Why the hell can’t we trak them from the numbers and put them behind bars?
