My laptop "crashed" so I called the tech support number on my device. She told me that ALL my devices connected to our network had been compromised. I wasn't to text or call anyone because the "hackers" were "inside" our devices. Everything was made to seem urgent. The tech support person connected me to a representative from the fraud department of our bank (or so I thought) - he had me go to our bank and withdraw money so a "duplicate charge" could be made and then this effort would correct what had been "taken" from our bank account. I fed cash into a Bitcoin machine which the representative from "my bank's fraud department" gave me a QR code. In looking back, I shouldn't have believed them when they said to not trust anyone - even in our bank. We felt that we couldn't call our children or tell anyone about our situation because there could be supposed "moles." I feel really duped! In reality they asked us not to tell anyone about what was going on because the so-called hackers could see and hear everything.

They say someone has gotten into our computers or accounts. I told them they've been calling all night and I told them to stop and they asked me if I had a firearm to make them do so, which I took as a threat.

Internet search for Apple Support brought up a phone number. The other end claims to be Apple but they are not. Foreign speaking, hard to understand but very forceful and intimidating...telling me the only way to unlock my ipad is to purchase a license key..wanted me to stay on the phone with them while driving there, making purchase, and then passing along the information. This was after I gave some information out that I am now worried about, (my father's). When they got to the part of purchasing a license key, I knew something was up. Googled Apple again and got the correct contact info...account is locked for now and scammers were not able to get what they wanted. HOW CAN THEY HAVE A PHONE NUMBER THAT CLAIMS THEY ARE APPLE ON INTERNET SEARCH!! This needs investigated and removed. I was lucky that I didn't fall for it as I am sure many do, thinking they are calling a legit number!

I was calling for my elderly father who may have fallen for it and I am very upset. I can't be the only person reporting this and this number and scammers like this need taken down.

I have been getting telephone calls 3-4 times a day from #1-410-972-3290, they say there is supspious activity in my I CLAD account,They are saying to call them at Apple support adviser 747-212-5914. I do not have any such account.I have just canceled these calls but they keep calling.
