I purchased an item off of eBay for my friend as a house warming gift on 11/23/22. The seller gave me a UPS tracking number was never intended for her address and never made it to me. I've been trying to eBay that this is a scam. eBay however refuses to step in to assist me. In the pdf attached from UPS the package (UPS ******************) originates from Amazon (although I ordered this item from eBay and not Amazon which was a red flag) and is delivered to 660 MIDDLESEX AVE METUCHEN NJ 08840. This was the label placed on the shipping label. The address I order my package to was *** ***** Ave Metuchen NJ 08840. On further review the seller some how hacked UPS system to obtain a fake tracking number. The seller promised to resend my package via USPS (USPS **********************) and that package ended up in Staten Island and was never addressed to *** ***** Ave Metuchen NJ 08840. I have spent hours sending proof to eBay and under their buyer's protection I am supposed to be refunded my money but they are refusing to review my case and rectify everything.
