The scammer reached out to me through email as the Recruiter - Margret Poet for a Health Coaching position on Oct 3rd, 2023. I quickly responded that I'm interested in the position at $85 and scheduled for an interview Oct 9th at 9am. By my surprise, the interview was conducted entirely on a messaging app called Signal using the alias Ms. Shelby. Immediately the next day, I received an acceptance email with a letter, w2s and direct deposit form. I wasn't even asked how soon I could start or what my availability was, which I grew skeptical, but was too excited that I filled out all the forms. After the person kept pressing me for next steps which was to order an iphone and send the serial number and I'll get reimbursed using a form, I completely stopped all communication, deleted the app. I wasn't able to locate the recruiter's information on Linked In or no other professional sites except a directory for the company, but found it on other sites. I reached out to them on Facebook and explained the situation. They had no clue that this was going on and confirmed they no longer worked there and their account must be hacked. I began to question everything, I noticed the discrepancies in the recruiter's name from Poet to Poteat, and random activity sheets that I had to complete as part of the interview process. I reached out to Backfit's corporate office directly. I was told they're aware of the scam and that I could report it using their automated system. I had to go to the police to put in a report and have my driver's license number changed, account closed, and update all of my account records to a new one.

December 2022 I invested $200.00 into Ethereum Cryptocurrency on CoinStats website using an old iPhone SE that no longer works. I started using a Motorola E and was able to login to CoinStats, then bought a new iPhone 13 and now can’t login! Using the Motorola I contacted CoinStats about retrieving my funds made from investment and was given a run-around, and then told I was scammed. After filing cfpb.gov complaints I still haven’t gotten my money! I have contacted CoinStats support since December 31, 2023 after staking time was up trying to use their instructions to retrieve the money I made and the instructions do not work! I tried scanning the QR Code on Binance.us and Trust Wallet and the money will not transfer! I used Telegram to get information from CoinStats and was given another run-around and was instructed that I needed to put $50.00 into either Binance.us or Trust Wallet so the transaction can work, which is a lie! So, I continued contacted CoinStats support on their site and for the last few weeks I haven’t heard anything from support about retrieving my funds, they have posted on their support and help link that they’ll be back tomorrow, and previous responses by support told customers that they have alit of support requests and that they will respond in order they receive requests, and on Telegram using my new iPhone 13 I can’t look up CoinStats Chat and seems they’ve shut it down and only CoinStats News pulls up in the search box on Telegram. Please investigate this matter, and use my complaint for any proof needed?

Thank you!!!

The scammer came thru my email regarding ICloud Storage and saying that my storage was full, so I rushed and paid the $196 which wasn't bad for an additional 56 mgb. But once I put my card info in, it said thanks for your order - it's been placed, your package is on its way. Then I went to customer support and it was actually a Keto offer stating Apple Store Preview, but then reviews said, this is a scam. I called them and they kept trying to get more information from me.  When I got it, I hung up and called my bank and requested they stop the money transfer. They stated that 2 transactions of MysteryKeto phone 855-926-9216 already went through.
