Aramark Imposter Reports & Reviews (18)

I was looking for a new position and found an Aramark post on LinkedIn. I proceeded to send my info and a resume and awaited a response. I received a response from Naida Shepherd / [email protected] and at this time I did not notice the end of the email. She responded to me with interest and sent me a document and asked me to fill it out. The document was 15 questions on different work scenario questions asking me how I would respond or handle certain situations, they said it was a screening/assessment of my skills and seemed legit. I filled out the document and sent it back to them. I think the response back to me was quick, the next day. They said I got the job and sent me a welcome email. On the email was an attachment of an acceptance email which I had to sign and send back. I reviewed the document and it pretty much laid out as an employee contract. It was a full document of compensation, employment requirements, confidentiality agreement, benefits and termination info. Seemed like a legit document. Now that I’m looking at it more, it now looks like it is a template and they just inserted a company name and my name, I signed it and sent it back. They mentioned in the email someone would be in contact with me to do the onboarding process. Again, looking back at it all, it seems fishy as I am now putting it in writing! They did mention on the email there would be no phone conversations and it would all be done via email and or text. I then received a text from Melina / 310-595-8655 and she said she will walk me thru the process and she would be sending me money to purchase equipment. The next day, I received a check sent to my email. The check was for $4963 which seemed off right away as the equipment they listed was under $2000. I received it via email and was instructed to print the check, front and back and electronically deposit it via my bank app. I did and tried, it didn’t work! This is the moment I now felt this was defiantly fishy. I went back and forth the Melina and she tried to explain to me how to do it and she sent me a text pic of it and said try that. Now I’m very concerned so I took the check to the Bank. I showed the teller and explained all the info that I received and the teller immediately said this was not legit! She called the bank on the check and they went over the account # on the check, and the teller said the bank would neither confirm or deny this was a real account, she just took the information from the teller and then said they will look into it and that’s it! Apparently, I didn’t get any job, which kind of crushed me as this is exactly the job I was looking for!
These scammers must be stopped!

I just discovered these people's scam! They interviewed me and everything via Telegram, which seemed too suspicious to me, and they asked me to deposit a check that they sent me to buy the software to work with, and it all seemed too false to me! Furthermore, when I asked him how it was that such a large company did not at least do interviews by zoom and that since everything was going to be written, it gave me a lot of distrust! He sent me the same photo that I saw on his website to verify that it was a real person! Is there anything else one can do to report this type of fraud? I lost my entire morning at work believing in this! They have my address and photo ID I am worried that they will now use my information to scam others! Is there a way to make this stop? I'm scared

I’m glad I decided to look this up before I gave them ANY personal information. I was a little weirded out because they asked to interview over Telegram. They didn’t ask any private questions and it really felt like an interview. I got suspicious when they sent me a picture of the “hiring manager’s” ID.

I’ve heard of Aramark so I’m surprised that the server job I was looking for no longer existed on the company’s website. When I called to find out, I was told the job was filled a week ago. Meanwhile, I wasted the little time I have filling out their BS application (that doesn’t provide a work history page nor education/certification pages, What? These phishing sites need taking down bc not only have I wasted my time with them and now here writing this, but I have to deal with more junk callers and emails. Thank you! Pat from Vegas

I, too, was following up on a job opportunity from Aramark and felt something wasn't right when I was asked to submit a $100 payment for a "time tracker" my conversation is EXACTLY like a previous complainant on this site. We communicated via the telegram app.

Was chatted with about employment with Aramark. Told that I had to upload the Telegram messenger.

Was asked the same questions… I was all thinking it was legit until I was asked about my bank account.

Yeah big time scam.

Through Facebook of a local full time mommy, a job was advertised. The "full time mommy" Krista Williams asked me to download Telegram Messenger and then sent a link to contact the "hiring manager" Bridgette Lilly. Screenshots show the rest.

I first received a text message telling me to download telegram and I will be chatting with the Human Resources manager. His name is Ryan O’Neil, we discussed the “ position” and asked how many hours I would want to work , how I would want to get paid , he even gave me Aramarks actual website, we also discussed my employment experience. He then said it pays $30 per hour after training and during training it will be $20 per hour. Once I told him I didn’t have a bank he stopped messaging me back. Still not thinking anything of it I few days later I messaged him again and that’s when he told me I had to pay $500 for my equipment to be overnighted to me and that’s when I realized something wasn’t right, if this company is international why do I have to pay never had a company ask me to do such a thing. Be careful , I know there is crooks out there but this is ridiculous

I replied to a message on Facebook for a job opening. I chatted with someone on messenger who told me to download Telegram and from there I chatted with a lady about a job. I didn't question the job until the part where she said I needed to cover the software and then be reimbursed that's when I search for scams for this company. I'm going to share the conversations because it seems like they have the same lines they use with everyone.

Just like many of these people who have reported this. I have been scammed as well. I went through the same process as them. Sent my personal information and then was sent “her” ID and that instantly made me question everything. They then asked me for my personal banking information, I of course, refused to send that. However, I’m unsure what to do next as they have a picture of my id and know my address.

I'm so sorry, I know exactly how you are feeling. I actually had my old license shredded and got a replacement one. I don't know if you are from Canada or not but ours have a number on the back that changes every time a new one is issued. They stole my facebook and now im afraid that they are going to use my profile to lure others :(
I am very uneasy knowing they have access to my childrens pictures and my life.

I had my interview earlier, they said I passed and got hired. They asked for my informations and picture of my ID for the documents and sad to say I send them all. After getting my info they don't have any say or any follow ups, I wondered why, so I searched the aramark scams in google and I read all the reviews, same scenario with what I dealt earlier. Please help me, I'm afraid they might use my details for any other scams or illegal doings.

I came across a post about Facebook about a company urgently hiring people to work from home. I reached out to the poster, who said that they worked for Aramark and the company was hiring people to work from home for $25/hr doing data entry type work. They said to contact the hiring manager, Sasan Johnson, through the Telegram app (they provided a link for the contact as well: https://t.me/sasan2113). I contact Sasan, answered a series of questions about my employment history, references, qualifications, and conducted an interview for the job. I also provided my full name, address, cell phone number and a photo of my driver's license. At this point, Sasan stated that I need to pay $200 via CashApp or Zelle for the installation of software on the MacBook Pro I would be receiving for work. I sent the money to the CashApp account I was told to, and was told by Sasan a short time later that the software installation was almost complete, and I needed to send an additional $150 to complete it. At this point, I became suspicious and started researching, where I came across an article stating that legitimate companies will not use Skype, Telegram, WhatsApp, or other messenger apps to conduct interviews and hiring processes.

I met them on Facebook and spoke with the fake interviewer on telegram thank god I was able to edit the information I sent. Please stop them from any further damages

My stepdad sent me a screenshot of a post made by "Holli Budz" on Facebook advertising for jobs at Aramark. I sent them a message, and it all just felt very scammy (i'll attach pictures). When they said the interview would be through telegram, I got even more suspicious. I googled "aramark telegram" and two of the top links were from this website and another scam watching website. I sent them links to these websites and got immediately blocked. With a quick search of her name from a different account I had, I saw that she had posted the exact same thing in another group for New York instead of Colorado. There are a LOT of these posts is you just search "Aramark company is hiring” on Facebook and look under posts. I attached a few images of these as well, but it's DEFINITELY not an exhaustive string of posts. I couldn't keep scrolling and screenshotting because it was getting excessive.

I am so sorry this happened to you, I was taken for a ride too but instead of asking for money, they asked if for my facebook information to advertise for 2 business days. This however included my password. I felt a little uneasy about it and I sent them my old facebook. Sure enough within 30 mins, my friends were messaging me and telling me that this person was asking for $40. I freaked out and contacted fb. They gave me the option to set a new email and get my account back. This was Feb 14, fast forward a few more days. Another attempt was made to access my account, I however stopped it before it was made possible. A few more days went by and another. Then I got a notice that my password was changed again. I went back in and changed it again.
Then yesterday morning, they persisted again, so once again I changed my password. I left the house to get stuff for my son's birthday meanwhile the slimeball had gotten back into my account, changed my email and phone number and officially locked me out with my drivers license. Facebook doesn't believe me even though theres been at least 60 reports made. My uneasy feeling is them knowing my address, having access to all my pictures and my life as well as my drivers license.
