I was checking my e-mail and clicked on some event notice in my area. Then I got a pop-up message on my screen with Microsoft logo saying my computer has problem and to call 888-502-6512 to fix it. I called and the person on the other line said my IP Address is being misused for some malicious activities and he could help. I gave up control of my computer, and I could see he was working on something. He then offered life time support for $499.99. He had me fill out billing form (They only accepted checking account payment) including my account number and routing number.  They billed under ARB Consulting Solutions. 

I realized it was a scam and closed all accounts and disconnected my computer.
