An Ardent representative approached me while I was outside my rental home, and misrepresented themselves as if they were some sort of unaffiliated higher-up gas supplier that was simply collecting NEEDED information and that they NEEDED to see one of my recent gas bills, as well as the apartment rental's gas bills in other units. The representative asked to see my gas bill, and then recorded some information off of it, then told me I just needed to sign and initial and all of a sudden I was faced with a contract, which they clearly did not want me to read. He was actually getting me to switch to Ardent Gas as my alternative gas supplier. I am hoping to cancel in time where I am not faces with any fees. I am a university student, having very little rental experience I feel targeted and taken advantage of.
