We contacted this person via Craigs list and they responded back a week or 2 later. His name went from pastor Robert to something else. The "home owner said they where now located in Florida and wanted to rent the house to responsible tenants, money wasnt the motive and wanted our word that we were that. After we assured him that we would "take care of the home like it was ours" he asked a little more about us. Then asked if we had the cash. We told him that we would go look at the house and give him a text to further discuss. Once we asked about moving forward . He said the house was empty and we could move in right away, after we send him the first month and refundable deposit. He didnt ask for a background check or our last names. He didnt say anything about a lease. He said send him the money and he will ship us the keys. Once we told him that would not send the money without keys or a lease. He tired to assure us that he was not a thief and will use some of the money for shipping the keys. Needles to say we did not move forward with this individual due to the shady business .
