Arike contacted me on Letgo where I was selling a women's bike for $175. She wanted to purchase it and asked for my cell number to continue talking. I stupidly did. She then texted me that she will send a check and that when the check clears, she would make arrangements for the pickup. When I asked her where she lives (thinking it was another city in my state) she texted back it was Colorado! I texted that I do not sell to anyone out of state. When I went back to Letgo I saw that Letgo deleted her account for safety reasons and that they (Letgo) removed the messages because she asked for my cell number. I never heard back from her via my cell phone, thank goodness.
