I sent over my resume and received the following email.

Overview and working hours:
The company will be sending you the office equipment you will need for this position. This includes a portable desk, a laptop, and a scanner, all of which are essential tools for your role. Additionally, you will undergo two-weeks online training program from the comfort of your home. This training will be conducted via video conference, and you will be assigned a training supervisor who will guide you through the process. It is important to note that you will be compensated at a rate of $20.00 per hour during this training period. Upon successful completion of the training, your hourly rate will increase to $27.00 per hour.
You will be required to set up your own time schedule while working for Arizona Cancer Therapeutics, either as a Full time employee working 35hours weekly (you can also work extra hours to make it 40hrs/week) or Part time employee working 20hours weekly. We understand the importance of work-life balance and want to provide our employees with the flexibility they need to succeed both professionally and personally. However, please note that we expect our employees to meet their deadlines and commitments on time, and that the work schedule should be aligned with the business needs of our company. We will be providing you with comprehensive guidance on how to set your working hours during the orientation session of your training.
The Position involves:
1. Accurately and efficiently enter data into the blockchain data entry system.
2. Verify and validate existing data within the blockchain system.
3. As a remote data entry clerk, you will be expected to adhere to strict confidentiality protocols.

I replied saying I wanted to learn more. I got back the following email:
"Hello,
Thank you for getting back to me. As part of the hiring process, you will be required to take a web based assessment test. The assessment will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and will provide us with valuable information about your skills and abilities. Your performance on this test will help us determine if you are the right fit for the position.

I completed the assessment and the employee form and they set me up with an employee login. Shortly after, I got an email stating. "A decision about your employment was made sooner than expected as we need to fill this position as soon as possible.

I signed the offer letter and sent it back. Then the wanted

I provided all that info and then they sent the following email
"Hello,
Your information has now been updated on our employee portal.
I'll need you to log into the employee portal to confirm everything works fine from your end.

I'll also need you to setup a Telegram account (if you do not have one already) as we are going to be communicating through Telegram until your home office is completely setup, then we can effectively communicate via the company email. Thank you for your understanding."
I set up a telegram account and have been communicating with her through that.
I am very skeptical and nervous about scams and all of this didn't seem to have any red flags other than not talking to someone on the phone. The next thing they did which was a red flag was they sent me a check through email for the purpose of purchasing the data entry program that is used for the job (Blockchain for data entry). They had me print out the check ($960) and deposit it using my mobile banking app. I waited until the check cleared the bank and let her know. She then had me use $900 to purchase bitcoin in my cashapp. I did that and used that bitcoin to purchase the Blockchain. It then said I have to wait up to 5 business days for the license to the software. Then another red flag, she said she has hit her limit on cashapp using bitcoin and asked me if she could send bitcoin to me for me to send it over to the blockchain program using my cashapp. This really made me uncomfortable, and I asked if this was a scam. I told her I did not feel comfortable doing that until I had all the work equipment and was working and getting paid. So far the only info they have for me is all public info and what bank I use. Now I am waiting to see if I do indeed receive the work equipment and training.
