When I spoke to the representative - Raymond Stevens, was provided a loan amount for approval & was told I needed to deposit 2K advance fee loan for security as part of approval. I was told by Raymond that once the funds were received, that I would receive the funds for my loan via e-transfer into my chequing acct within 24-48 hours.
I was told to send the funds to email address [email protected]. 48 hours later, when I did not receive the funds - I called back Raymond.
Raymond than advised would need an additional 2.5k in order to secure the approval. I told Raymond that I did not want to proceed with the loan & to have the 2k funds refunded back to my account.
Raymond told me the funds would be refunded by the end of that week.
I received no funds that week. I get a call the following week from another person, named Susan Hill, who advised on Nov 8th 2021 that it takes 30 days to have the funds refunded. Susan mentioned she can be reached directly at 437-522-5866.
i called her all of this week, and no one picked up the phone. i called the other number for the company at 613-415-8350 & left several voicemail messages wanting to inquire on an update regarding my deposit being refunded & no callback provided.
Please escalate the matter and assist with having my funds deposited back to my account.

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
For a 40000 loan at a very loan interest rate or so I was told. First thing when I returned the call and very abrupt man told me to grab a pen and paper and write this down..it was the amount I was approved for as well as payments amounts and interest rate , I thought this was strange as usually this would all be in a document that would be sent to me and not something that I would be told to write down ?? Anyway after saying this he then proceeded to tell me that Boucher of my credit situation the lender would need one of three things , either a co signer , or collateral or , is this was the one that was pushed on me , if I paid a fee is 2900$ for some sort of insurance on the loan, and if I paid it right then by etransfer, the money could be sent to my bank my the end of the day. When I said I was not interested in this and that it was my understanding that in Ontario it was not legal to ask for any up front fee in order to receive a loan, I was then told that the lender could do anything they wanted because of my credit situation . I then said well I own quite a few properties out right so I would be willing to use one or two of those as collateral for this loan instead, he said well someone will
Contact you and make arrangements to come and evaluate your properties , I proceeded to tell him that I lived in a very remote part of north eastern Ontario and he basically said yeah yeah someone will contact you ..I knew right off the bat that something did not seem
