Back on Thursday, January 5th, 2023, I was emailed about a job opportunity with a company called Armada Infotech for a position as a "Customer Service Officer" and I responded that I was interested. A few days later, David reached out to me stating that I had passed the interview process and I informed him that he may have me confused with someone else because I had not spoken to anyone directly from this organization. Anyway, he proceeded with an offer letter and since I was currently in between jobs, I accepted his offer. He sent me all the detailed information, tax filing documents and set me up with a company profile. To my eyes., everything looked very legitimate and professional, the only unprofessional aspect of things was the way we would communicate, all of our communication was done through email, telegram, and on the employee portal. I asked David if he could call or have a zoom meeting with me to go over some questions I had but he would just ignore my request. After serval days of "training", my suspicions grew. I contacted the building manager from the address listed on the site to see if they had a tenant with the same name (the answer was no), I contacted Salesforce, which the website states they are a partner with and the rep from there stated they have no relationship with them. I did a reverse IP address and it appears the website is only a few months old. They have no social media accounts like LinkedIn, instagram, etc... and no one seems to ever answer the phone, it just sends me directly to a voicemail stating that all agents are not available. I have only ever spoken to someone on the phone once and that was for another position they had in mind as a "head of virtual office representative". I attempted to do some job reviews online and found some similar comments to mine, however, the people that made those comments didn't realize that there are 2 companies with similar names. The one I believe to be fake is https://armadainfo.tech/ and the real one is **************************/. I have all our messages and interactions saved in case I need to pursue legal action against whoever is behind this potential scam. I can provide all the information I have available at a moment's notice.
