I was sold a bad plan for capturing, storing and purifying rainwater which would have created standing water in my back yard. I gave the scammer $973 in cash which was supposed to pay for materials. When I tried to make changes in the plan he grabbed the contract and left with it and my $973. When I called the phone number I was told that the $973 was a nonrefundable deposit. I was not told that it was a nonrefundable deposit and can't check the contract because he took it with him. Further it was well within the 3 day right of rescission which homeowners have by law in California. This company does not have a California contractors or bus business license. They are licensed only in Florida which is home to the most fraudulent companies in the USA. I am 81 years old so this is also a case of elder abuse.
