I am with Aronson Advertising in Schaumburg, IL. Someone sent an individual a Fedex Priority letter with our company's name and address as the sender with a letter inside stating they were setting up a McDonald's Car Wrap Advertising campaign that the individual applied for. The notice stated to text 732-997-6280 and ask for Mr Robert Amrou for the details. When he texted him to get his information because he knew this was a scam the person told him to send him $******* through Zelle or a Walmart store near him. They do not accept checks. When he pushed for more details about the company name and contact they stopped texting. The person then contacted us thinking we were the ones that sent out the letter. We did not. That is our name and address used on the Fedex label, but not our phone number and not our letter. We have never sent anything like this out. I do not believe this is the only individual to receive this letter. I believe my boss also received a phone call from another individual inquiring about this letter.
