AR Windows, Allen Reeder and his wife came to my house to give a quote for a patio sliding door and two windows. They were very pleasant. They requested 50% of the cost to start the order. He electronically sent me a contract on the spot utilizing Hearth software (gethearth.com). We both electronically signed the contract. and I gave him a check for half the cost, $2,140. This was Sept 2022. By end of Oct he stated there were production delays. By Dec 10 he finally responded after numerous phone, text and email messages. He stated that he would get me status ASAP. That was the last I heard from him. I have found at least 6 other online complaints. Everyone is in same situation of giving 50% up front, months of excuses and finally he goes silent and never performs the contract. AR Windows is still active on Instagram with 20 posts since Jan 1, 2023, latest just yesterday, 3/11/23. Their Instagram is arpwindows. They need to be stopped. They are clearly actively looking for new victims!

Note: Before initially contacting AR Windows I checked reviews and verified their contractor license on the Contractor State License Board website. They had been in business for 20 years. Everything looked good. First complaint wasn't posted until end of Dec 2022. That's when I knew I'd been scammed.

Beware AR Windows aka Allen is the owner of a window company In Lancaster California area who appears to come of very nice and professional. He’s very attentive to answer all your questions and concerns but once he receives your deposit money for the windows which he says can only be 50 percent down nothing less in order to order your windows he goes Mia on you. Beware I have been scammed by this man Allen and have not received no windows or my money back and it has been 5 months of lies and no communication just a big headache. I can’t get my new windows even with another company because he has scammed me for my money and Allen has given me a personal check (Red Flag)which he’s bank says has no funds to cash it. Please go to a professional place anywhere else but with AR windows in Lancaster California.
