This company keeps sending unordered supplies to the facility. The supplies range from toner, speakers, and more. They do not invoice out facility directly, but they send the bill to corporate (not sure how they got their information). But DO NOT pay this company if they send you a bill!

This company calls and informs the person that answered the phone, "your toner agreement is about to expire, if you don't give us your name now, you will be getting a price increase of $$$$$ dollars". Once the poor person gives them their name, they then ship in toners to that persons name--at cost of over $500.00 per toners. (our toners are at no charge with our printer agreements) this company calls and calls-until they get a person that gives them their name.

Very bogus---------and solicits frequently------------

WE have NEVER paid them for the toners they sent, we just hold one to them, and have emailed them our policies, and to pick up their toners. Months and months later, they continue to mail us invoices, which we do not pay.

Received a voicemail 6/13/19 saying we had a past due invoice with their business, gave invoice number and phone number. David Martinez 877-338-1199 ext 120.

When I called, he said we have a past due balance on a toner order. It was placed verbally by "our receptionists name,. which he knew" and signed by "my full name" which he knew. I asked for their website which he said they do not have one (red flag 1).

Our business orders all of our supplies directly from our contractor and they do not use a 3rd party.

We received three toners that we did not order. Our printer supplies are all coordinated off site and automatically come to us without request. I then received two invoices for $497 and $996.95 for the three toners. I questioned our accounting department about the price in which they informed me that this company is not our replenishment company. I denied the payment of the invoice and proceeded to investigate. I've been calling the company repeatedly over the past four months. I've left several voicemails and even sent a fax requesting a call back. I initially spoke to a woman named Mara who informed me that it was ordered through my manager but couldn't give me a name. I informed her that I am the manager and I did not order the toner in which she insisted that their sales department must have made a mistake and she would have a woman named Megan call me in an hour to send me the return labels via email. I called again and spoke to a woman named Ruby who said she was the manager and that Mara will be in soon and will send us the return labels. I was going to just send the toner back with a signature of receipt request but noticed that the address is not a company address. It is the address to a UPS store in California. This company has no website or email address either. I never heard from anyone from the company until early August. In which a woman by the name of Mara L*** proceeded to bully me into paying the invoice and insisted that we ordered the toner and failed to communicate that it was sent in error. I am the only person authorized to order anything and absolutely did not order the toner. I asked her what proof does she have that I ordered the toner and she hesitatingly informed me that it was a verbal order. She was extremely combative and refused to give me any contact information for her supervisor, stating that there is no one who is "above her" in her office. I asked her if she was the owner and she said she doesn't have to go through me and will call my accounting department. In which I assured her that they would not approve the invoice without my consent. The toner they sent is not even for our type of printer. I believe this company is targeting medical/dental practices with multiple locations by sending products, refusing calls and demanding payment on items that were never requested. We sent the 3 toners they sent us back months ago and finally received a call back today from a woman who tried to bully me into paying for a fourth toner that we NEVER received. I reminded her that we never placed the order to begin with and have stated on numerous occasions that there were only three received. She said that we WILL pay for the fourth toner and that she will be sending us an invoice anyway. I also noticed that they have now removed their “fake address”. These people need to be stopped!

A representative called our company (Encompass Health / HealthSouth Northern VA) claiming to be our toner supplier and asked for the model number of our printer. The person claimed he was from the company that supplies toner for our printer even though we have never ordered from them and said they were calling about a backorder. Again, we'd never ordered anything from them, it was completely untrue. They sent us toner and attempted to bill the company. It was discovered when someone else realized they were not actually our supplier.

Later they called us AGAIN and attempted the same scam. When I asked point-blank if they were our supplier the person on the phone lied and claimed they were.

My Office Manager received a phone call from an individual asking for her name in regard to toner that was ordered. She gave her name but said our toner is ordered from a warehouse. She never ordered any toner. We are a large non profit health system. Today, a toner arrived in the mail addressed to my Office Manager, along with an invoice. And the toner was busted.

ARS Networking has sales people who call random employees at companies. When they get in touch with someone who will talk with them, they will say something like "We see your copier is running low on ink. Please confirm for us your name/address/copier model number so we can send the correct toner to you."

By getting this information from a random employee, the company says it's been "authorized" to make a sale even if the employee has no authority to make a purchase decision (or knowledge that they're even making a purchase).

ARS Networking then immediately sends a bill for much higher rates than market prices, and eventually sends the toner as well (which is sent almost a month later...just a day before the bill is due to be paid).

They are hoping the invoice will be received by someone who doesn't realize that the order wasn't authorized (or doesn't realize if the copier is under a maintenance plan with a different company), and will blindly pay the bill even if the product hadn't arrive yet.

If the scam is caught, however, you will find the company has no website, but there is a phone number on the bill.

Calls result in being forwarded to a customer service rep who can give you a tracking number but little other information (they didn't make the sales call, and don't have anything to do with the actual billing or shipping). If you ask, they will give you a return shipping label and RMA. It is too early in this case to know if they will void the bill after the toner has been returned.

Received invoice from ARS Networking for a laserjet cartridge stating it was ordered by an employee who has no ordering rights and who works in a none functioning office location. Our company currently uses a contracted service that places orders automatically tied to our equipment, so no outside orders are placed.

Have tried to contact the company but only get a none service dial tone, which doesn't even ring to the company.

+1

This company is calling random phone numbers in our organization offering to purchase printer toner. If someone answers and gives their name, ARS sends an invoice for the purchase of a Hewlett Packard Laserjet Enterprise M602 which they received from the conversation.

This company calls and gets a name and then sends an invoice for item that we would NEVER order from them. We get free toner for our copiers form our copier rental company, yet this company will send invoices for copier toner

The evening nurse recived a call asking to confirm the order of copier supplies. She did not know this was a scam. The invoice came in C/O name and our business name. Explained to her we never order from this company and its a scam. The Nursing Supervisor and myself ( Administrator) recive these calls during the day and we just hang up because we know its a scam.
