I have been the victim of a scam. Arthur Benson emailed me regarding testing some high end computer equipment and appeared legitimately to offer me $3000 for two one hour presentations. He sent me an advance check for $5000 with the proviso I send $3400 to the company providing the equipment using Xoom. I inquired, but there was a contract, etc. I did so, The check took some days to clear and as the presentation was coming up, he pressured me to send the money. He provided the bank, routing and account numbers (see below). He then asked for a second payment of $3000 sent again by Xoom to the company. I asked for proof of a forthcoming check, he provided picture of it, and I sent the money. The first check then bounced and I have not received a second check. I called out the scam and he promised remuneration via Western Union. Obviously there will be no payment and I am out $6400. I would like a refund as Xoom represents itself as legitimate and is indirectly supporting fraud. I've included the details from the account. I am reporting to the ScamPulse.com and FCC.
