Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

FAKE EMPLOYMENT

Basically offered fake job for data entry making 30.00 hour. The company states in New York. Phone call was from foreign man in Kentucky.+18455371615
They only spoke through text. Had me download teams App. Sent me job offer, without background check, drug screen, or references. Job offer did not contain any of my information. No phone number ,no email. The job offer did not give supervisor I would be reporting to, nor did it give me starting date. I asked Taylor Bridge, for company phone number. She said, I had to contact her through teams App at: [email protected]
I told her I needed the number, she then stated they make no calls during working hours. I also informed her I didn't get start date or contact supervisor. Told me had to wait for zoom call. Kept asking for phone contact...she quit speaking to me.
This company is not on Better business bureau, or glassdoor. Their LinkedIn states has only 4 employees..3 are chairman's of the board. Their contacts also don't contain phone contacts..states they will be happy to meet through events, however no events scheduled. No new endeavors with this company. I included actual conversation with their supposed Hr person. All was taken from teams App.

Job scam

Offered job. Refused to give me phone number. Number they called from was from Kentucky and a foreign man. Wouldn't tell me supervisor name. Wouldn't give me a start date. Wanted me only to speak through teams application. Said, they don't do phone calls during working hours. Sent job offer- no start date, my information was not on job offer, no phone numbers, no report to supervisor. Asked taylor about it, she quit communicating. They told me I could give my two weeks notice, knowing I wouldn't have a job. They sent I9 and W4...trying to get my information. Also tried to get me to accept a check through my email and deposit it in my bank..and then order office merchandise through someone they suggested and wire him the money from my bank account. Thank God, I looked into them and investigated. Feel sorry for folks who were taken advantage of..
