Employment Scam

I alos received a text from a "Bridget Almog, a recruiter from (Cytovac A/S)" saying my resume was reviewed online "for an Opening Position of Data Entry Representative. The pay is ?35.75 per/hr, while training is ?20.75 per hour. This is strictly an online work from home job and the interview will be done online via TEXT (IM, Instant Messaging) on Telegram because the company head board in-charge of reviews will be viewing our conversations after the process..." you get the idea. This is so shady I'm glad I looked up the phone number because if you look up the company name it appears real. Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope this helps other people too.

They found my resume on indeed. Sent me a text to interview. Interview was set up on Telagram app by the name of Rudy Keith under the username of: rudy_hrm. Completed the interview was sent welcome packet, direct deposit form, w-4 forms, and an employee code of conduct. Explained about the position being paid $20 an hour for the week of training then would increase to $35.75 once completed training. They then sent me a check for $4950. Told me to take out $150 for an assignment I completed for them, and to use the rest to purchase office supplies, such as printer, lap too, ipad, and computer. Stated they would provide compensation for software installation.
Check arrived through fedex. My bank flagged the check so I could not deposit it into my account. “Ice pharmahf” then asked me to send them the money back out of my own checking. They requested that I return their money through cash app with the name $jeanettez14”, through Venmo with the name “mark-chamberlain-50”. Then to purchase apple gift cards in increments of $500. They requested that I send them four $500 gift cards making it $2000.

I was contacted by a person saying they reviewed my resume and wanted to conduct an interview through telegram. They sent me a check for $4950 to set up an at home office. I did not deposit this check nor did I give them any information.
