Arim Isabel - Scammer

I put a request in on Home Advisor and received a call from Arim Isabel claiming to be with McCullum Landscaping. He came to my home to price out a job and gave me a website to reference. https://ashhorticulture.com. This site is no longer functional. I agreed to the contract he sent over, however, there were multiple discrepancies. At this point, something seemed off. I went to the website and there were many reviews and photos but the photos were clearly not his work as they were some of the first photos that came up on google when searching "landscaping'. There was one review detailing that Arim took $3k and never did any work. Arim responded to the post with photos of work that he claimed he had started. Those photos had a watermark on them with a different company name. That company was out in Washington State, yet the reviewer was from NC. I immediately told him I was canceling the contract. This was within 12 hours of agreeing to it. He said he could not cancel the contract and he was going to put a lien on my home. He then claimed his wife is an attorney and he was going to sue me and take it to the supreme court. Ultimately, there has been no lein placed and he "wife" which I doubt he has is not an attorney. I was lucky enough to not be out any money but please don't be scammed by Arim Isabel, he's a complete joke of a human.

We hired them to do a deck , paid in full and they never showed up to do the job . Then just told one lie after another for why they couldn't come .
My wife sent them money for decking materials and labor costs . No one ever came . They called and said because of covid , delivery prices were higher , and it was going to cost 300 more for lumber delivery . Wife sent the money and they never delivered anything and have just gave one excuse after another .

We hired them to build a 14 x30 deck , literally stole over 2,500 dollars from us p . We paid for lumber and everything . They never showed up to do the job and just gave BS excuses for why they couldn't make it or even deliver the wood . These people are trash !

This person founded my information through home advisor website. He texted me and offered to give the best price for service of a deck and concrete work. Then he came to my house and did the measurements. He sent me a very format contract. Then he needs a 50% deposit via Apple Pay to buy supplies. I gave it to him immediately. He said the job will be done but it dragged for 2 weeks. He only take the old decks apart then he left. He didn’t come back because he said the supplies was sent to the wrong house. He needs me to send him more money to retrieve it because he used all $13,125 on supplies. I asked for the receipts and he wouldn’t provide it. Then after three weeks of texting back and forth he said I need to hire another contractor and there is no money he can refund me.
