contacted via Craigslist in response to an add from me selling some home furniture. Stated they were out of town for wedding and interested in buying the unit. Stated they need to send cashiers check + $ for trouble, then after cashing, they will send someone to collect the unit. I didn't give home address, but another address and several days later a cashiers check arrived, but not from the email sender, instead it's from some company called Asia Plastics (a real company btw, with a real address) and now instead of the check being from 'Phyllis' it's from 'Henry Tan'. The item for sale was set at $300, but the check is now written for $3,950. Obviously a scam and not cashing. Now received an all caps, threatening text that they will go to the FBI or local police since I have their check.... I didn't cash, so I don't care what they do.
