A person by the name Jordan Perry reached out via text stating he reviewed my resume and was offering a position to start at $25 an hour and after training $35hr position. Its a scam...do not fall for it

A person named Jordan Perry from Aspen Group Ltd. texted me saying they liked my resume and wanted to interview me thru a messaging app called Signal. Gave me a basic interview and accepted me the next day, saying they sent a check for my materials. I received the check and it was sent out by a different person - no name but from Robertson Marketing Group Inc. Check was visibly fraudulent; I did not cash it and I blocked the number.
