On 6/27, in the late afternoon a man who went by Jimmy came to my door offering asphalt services. He instant quoted (without me asking) and said his product would last nearly a decade.

He had no business card, marked truck/vehicle with company name, etc. Something just felt off.

He left his first name and reluctantly gave a phone number. He was driving a white, Pontiac mini-van.

I'm only reporting this, as I saw on our local news a woman who was scammed by someone saying they were from Asphalt Maintenance Service. The name didn't jump out until I read the article, and realized it was also what "Jimmy" used when he came to my door.
