I saw a Facebook advertisement which was advertised by a firm called " Consultant Enclave " which claims that they are connecting job seekers across various industries in US to obtain USA EB3 visa. So I have inquired about a work visa and their automated system connected me to a so called consultant and hiring team head, Mr. Ishan Gupta (+1 (442)290 4524, +1 (209) 702-2932). He asked me to provide the copies of my passport, NIC copy, COVID19 Vaccination certificate and my contact details (mobile number with WhatsApp, e-mail). After 2 days I received a "job offer letter from so called "ASPIRE FOOD" company HR division. As per their instructions, I acknowledged the job offer and signed off the offer letter and couriered (DHL) to them on 1st of November to their given address in MN. After receiving those documents, the company called me and confirmed the job.

After that Mr. Ishan Gupta asked me to pay a courier cost of 150 USD to a Sri Lankan exchanger account (Acc.no 103652386559 F.Z. MARIKKAR, Sampath Bank, Wellawatta Super branch) to send my work permit and visa documents to US embassy in Sri Lanka. Yesterday (08th Nov 2024) the package arrived to SL. (via Easy Delivery Solutions courier service). Earlier I was informed by Mr. Ishan Gupta that, after receiving a call from the US embassy in SL I need to pay 450 USD to the "ASPIRE FOOD" company as they have applied my EB3 visa on behalf of me. He is asking me to use the same Sri Lankan exchanger account to pay that 450USD. As he mentioned, I received a call from the US embassy in SL this Friday (8th Nov.). ( I wonder how they gave me a call from an exact legal number belonging to the US embassy in Colombo (0112028500).

For the whole process they asked me to pay 1400USD.

Fortunately, by then I have reached ScamPulse.com and other US official sites since I smelled several red flags situations relating to the process they have followed.

Any way I am not going to pay any single cent to them to get this job. But I already lost 220 USD as courier charges.

Now I confirmed that this is another job visa scam. I want to help prevent others from falling victim to these scammers. I think reporting fraudulent job offers and scams can help authorities track down the perpetrators and protect others from similar situations.
