Type of a scam Travel/Vacations
On Thursday, February 4, 2016, four days before arrival I reached out to "James Jackson" by email, phone and text (530-287-2149) to reconfirm and ask a couple of questions. When I did not receive a timely response I began to worry. I continued to attempt to contact James Jackson and Robert Koerner multiple times over the next few days.
Upon arrival at the property on Sunday, February 7, 2016, it was discovered that the property existed, but there was no "front desk" to check in to get keys. There is a lock box next to the property door but a code was not provided. I attempted to contact James Jackson and Robert Koerner while on-site at the property to gain access.
I finally did get a response by email from "Robert Koerner" who proclaimed he knew nothing about a Park City condo. He checked his PayPal account, saw my funds transfer and another transfer to another account that is not his. This suggests his PayPal account was hacked to facilitate the scam.
