They emailed me and kept calling me about a job. I did a sketchy interview over zoom with a random lady and not the man that was supposed to be the hiring manager. The lady didn't even have her name on it, it just hiring director. Gave no information on the job just random facts of the 'company'. The assistant 'Sammy Carrington' is nowhere to be found online and the address they have listed for the office is a building that the suite is under construction and available for rent on the buildings website. I'm glad I didn't just show up in person, super sketchy and could've been kidnapped.

They contacted me for a job interview when I had not applied for any position via their company. They texted me late on a Sunday night, emailed me the next morning and texted me again from a new number when I didn't respond immediately because I was a work at my actual job.

Sent unsolicited text message for an interview, complete bait and switch and highly unprofessional. Avoid.

They email you for a job that you never applied for in order to lure you to their office. I read the reviews prior to responding to email and it was many red flags about this company

Received an email from "Human Resources Manager" on Sunday 2/19/2023 at approximately 11:30 am stating that they came across my resume and my resume was perfect for the position. The email stated that she wanted to set up an interview view Zoom for the very next day, Monday, 2/20 (President's Day, as well as less than a day's notice). The email came from "[email protected]." Yes, "asteroids" was spelled incorrectly. Also, the "Human Resources Manager" was a person named Mandi Valentino, and the number listed under her name was: 201-283-0404. This email was followed up immediately with a text message. I received a second email, followed immediately again by a text message, on Sunday 2/19 at approx. 5:45 pm. I called the phone number on email. No voice message or ring tone--just a busy signal for a minute than disconnected. I looked up "Mandi Valentino" and "Amanda Valentino" on Google and LinkedIn, but could not find a person of this name associated with the company. The emails also listed the address as Journal Square in Jersey City, NJ, but that's all. I did apply to a job on a notable job board in relation to Asteroid Communications, but the email listed on the company website is "[email protected]", with "asteroids spelled correctly. Hmmmm......

I did not respond to the emails nor the texts, because I have a hunch that something isn't right about this.
