I initially came across a posting on indeed that was advertising for a "Supply Chain Coordinator" for Universal Business Solutions. This is a known company in the US but not in Canada. The explained that they were going to try and start a team in Canada, and that this position would be to work from home for a 1 month contract basis, $41 an hour. The contract needed to be signed and you were promised $3000 for one month of training and after this time the company would decide if they were going to keep you on or not. They did not ask for any private information for this contract. After the contract was signed they asked for credit card information and bank information so they the company could transfer you money to use to "purchase goods and services". I did not give this information out. I was not contacted about a start date or time or what to expect.
