I was email by a person claiming to be Alexander Tan a recruiter from vaxart inc and although there is a person that works for the company the email address does not match (It is NOT the same person) he sent me a employment offer with company header looked 100 percent legit. Asked me to download ring central for an interview. It seemed very legit all normal questions no personal questions asked even had me write a short essay on how I would be good for the company. Offer letter and all very professional and address of vaxart inc as well. I was sent a check that I was to deposit and then purchase the equipment from there vendor for my at home set up. My bank quickly informed me that the check was fraudulent so I did not get in to any trouble thank God! I did reach out to Vaxart and they informed me that it was a scam and that they never send checks for any position and the employment process would never be through any app. PLEASE PLEASE beware like I said this person goes above and beyond to make sure that all looks legit!
