I was contacted similar to the above demanding an interview for the next morning and the request came after business hours. There was scant information about the organization and the role other than the high salary for an admin position. I'm also overqualified, but in this economy and after a covid job loss, I was at least considering speaking with them in light of the salary. I reported them to the FTC.

I was contacted via email for an executive assistant position. The website, online business reviews etc all seemed to match. After 2 days of minor training / tasks i was sent a check overnight to cover the cost of laptop, desk, etc for office set up.. The check i was sent was for a large amount and I contacted the bank the check was drawn from however the check number and routing number were not valid...

This almost happened to me as well. Contacted on 3/1 about an Administrative Executive data entry / accounting remote job, went through a text-based interview with someone, who then "offered" me the job and wanted me to start training the next morning. I didn't receive an offer letter and didn't say yes and didn't sign anything. I believe ATC is a legit company, but I'm thinking the scammers pretended to be from ATC.
