Company contacted my business stating they were Atlantic City Electric and that we had 48 hours to pay our bill or our electric would be turned off. When I contacted the number back to inquire and asked questions they became very unprofessional with me and started using profanities.

I called again several hours later and now they are posing as an electric company from Ohio.

This is a total scam.

Approximately 11 am this morning we received a call from a person portraying to be a representative from Atlantic City Electric.We are a dental office and were informed that our electric would be turned off within 30-40 minutes unless payment was received. I asked the caller what my amount due was and he told me $1,486.32 and that no payment has been made since February 2018. I asked the amount of the payment they received from our office last and they could not tell me the amount. The only thing they kept repeating to me was that the electric will be turned off within the 30 minute time frame if the balance was not payed in full. I played along with them, knowing this had to be a scam and that our bill could not be that high. I asked if I could pay this over the phone (which I had no intentions of doing). they said you could only pay via credit card or pay the tech that was going to be coming to the office to disconnect service momentarily with cash only in the amount of 1,486.32. I hung up immediately and called the Atlantic City Electric Company who informed me that this was a scam and that we needed to contact the ScamPulse.com immediately . Our balance was current in the amount of $659.21 which we paid at that time of speaking to them regarding this matter. Thank you for your time and cooperation in this matter.
