I was contacted on linkedin about a job with Atossa pharmaceutical by Delly Behen. I researched the company and saw they were on the Nasdaq and had a website, everything seemed legit. She said I would get overnighted a check to purchase equipment, I deposited it into my account and followed the instructions. The check cleared my bank and I deposited like I was told but now looking back all the signs were there but I was desperate for a job. I was contacted that the check was fraud but the money was gone. They closed my account because of the scam and after reaching out to delly she asked me to send my banking info and she would make it right! I never responded and felt so dumb, I work in tech and I should have known better!

I was reached out to on linkedin by a pharmaceutical company. I interviewed and was offered the job, little did i know it was a scam. The next day they overnighted me a check for my “Start up” office cost and asked me to deposit it. I had been worked from him but had heard of companies doing different things. Delly assured me everything was okay, she then told me when it cleared to pay the 3rd party vendor who then would ship me my equipment to begin my job. The check was reversed at my bank after I had paid the vendor. I went to the bank and they informed me it was fraud and closed my accounts because the money was gone. Delly reached out again saying oh we can fix the problem I just need you account number and I’ll send a direct deposit to correct the “mistake”. I feel ashamed and stupid that I feel for this but their website, address, phone numbers everything was public even from her linkedin page.. Beware these scammers are getting top tier clever and it doesn’t seem like a scam but in the end you’re left hurting!
