I just recently discounted (2 weeks ago) with Direct Tv and my cell phone started blowing up with text messages from this company saying I was now able to save 50% on my monthly bill. When I asked Direct TV about it, I was told to be sure and ask for a At&t id # which contains 3 letters and 3 numbers. I did this and the "representative", Jordan gave me the id as 7521 and when I asked about that he told me the line was breaking up and then I was told he was sorry but there were no more discounts for me. They also have their phone lines set up to pay your bills, change services, etc. Just like Direct Tv does. The music and the voice is different. I am concerned that elderly people would not know the difference. I have all the text messages on my phone if they are needed.

They wanted me to call back with promotion code DTV027313 and give eBay gift card number. I called AT&T to verify and was told it was a scam.
